Strictly Briks are an improvement in the world of legos

Have you ever wanted to build multiple floor buildings, a parking garage or maybe just a tower? Well now you can.

Strictly Briks has some amazing products such as Trap and Gap Baseplates that improve those lego base plates by adding ramps...or trap doors depending on how you want to play in both the regular lego base plates and duplo (large size) base plates giving you a new way to play. The base plates work perfectly with other brand name lego blocks and sets to create any masterpiece your child...or you can imagine.

The Big Briks are comparable to duplo blocks and already having a few sets of duplo blocks at home we were able to really test out the quality of the briks. The set came with a big base plate with trap doors and a set of big briks in multiple colors. When used together there is no difference between the two brands and my kids can easily play with both sets together. The big base plate is also used with the Alpha Briks set.

Math Briks and Alpha Briks are also really neat ways to bring learning to the table while having fun. The math briks are smaller (they resemble scrabble tiles) and attach easily to any base plate to work on those math skills while playing. The alpha briks are larger and attach to the duplo sized base plates. They are silicone and flexible...the perfect size for toddler fingers. Both sets are easy for kids to use and all briks remove easily for clean up.

I was provided several sets of Strictly Briks products to try and was impressed with the quality of these products. All of the briks are easily interchangeable with any brand of legos (the larger blocks fit with duplo blocks) and hold up quite well. None of my children could tell the difference between the bricks of other brands. Their favorites are the base plates that have the trap doors and that is for both my toddlers and preteens.

These sets are great for classroom use, homeschool or just to use for playtime at home. They are great for boys and girls...young and old.

Entertain all ages and interests with this unique set of light sabers that light up and hum

Any star wars fan would be in heaven with this set of 2 light sabers....they light up...and hum too! There are 3 different LED colors that glow just like the ones in the movies! Lightweight at just 7oz yet super cool since you just press the on/off button and the light saber immediately comes on and starts the humming and has a bright, glowing color (red, blue or purple) that changes with a slight swing or touch to something. The light saber itself is 27.5 inches long but when in the arms of a child it seems to grow and create a once in a lifetime experience. Who needs to fight Darth at Disney World when you can have your own life like saber fight in your own backyard with this set.

The  GlitZGlam Galaxy Saber Sword uses 3 AA batteries (each) to light the sabers and create that awesome authentic humming sound. The saber itself is made from a plastic material and while made well it is thin. The sword part is clear in color and there is an insert inside that holds the LED lights that creates the glowing effect. The base is black and has a lot of detailing...very nice touch. The sound box is located at the very base and the battery compartment is located on the side and includes a screw closure. The on/off button is very easy to use (my 2 yr old can easily use this saber) and it is a push button.

Overall, this is a wonderful toy perfect for any event or just to play with at home and create memories for the young or old at heart. The set could potentially provide many hours of fun...if used the right way and carefully. Would be a great set to place on display or impress friends with. I don't think it would hold up if you wanted to have an actual fight where the sabers hit each other with force or if they were dropped as they are not well protected and the plastic frame is indeed thin.

A good option for a gift or to indulge yourself with.

Upgrade Your Scooter And Get Some Speed...

Having 4 boys in the house leads to lots of fast and fun things happening. The regular scooters just weren't cutting it anymore and my older boys were looking for something more so I decided to purchase this electric scooter for them. I was looking for something that both my younger kids (9 and 11) could control and have fun on as well as my husband and myself and this scooter does it all. I was impressed with the quality from the time I opened the box since everything was packaged neatly and it was quite easy to assemble the scooter in under 10 minutes.

The Pulse Performance Super C Electric Scooter has lots of features that make it worth the price such as the steel construction with triple tube geometry, 250 watts of power, up to 40 minutes of continuous ride time, holds a rider up to 150 lbs, a 24-volt rechargeable battery with Instant Throttle Response, ergo sweep stem and handle bars with integrated dashboard showing the current speed, a twist-grip throttle, two-piece Composite Deck Traction, front caliper disc brake, protective aluminum bash guard, air filled rubber tires, durable chain drive system, LED light on/off indicator for safety and power converter and more.

Once the scooter is initially put together and charged, there is no further upkeep except to re-charge as needed and placing air in the tires over time making this a good buy. I was able to easily find the on/off switch and charger port on the bottom side area and the scooter is easy to drive since you just twist the right handle bar the desired amount to increase/decrease speed up to 15 mph. The left handle bar has the brake attached and it is easy to squeeze (I have bad carpel tunnel and weakened wrists) so you don't have to worry about a child not being able to brake properly when needed. I find that the speedometer is quite accurate and is easy to read at almost any angle so no matter your height you can see the details of your ride. Turning the scooter is a breeze as the air filled tires make it feel like you are indeed riding on air...I even hit a few random rocks and the scooter barely budged...and the turns can be as tight or loose as you can handle depending on your experience while riding.

The base plate where your feet rest is wide enough for a larger framed person to stand comfortably and the metal plate provides some traction for the feet while riding. The kick stand is small and barely noticeable yet is able to hold the heavy scooter without any problems. This particular scooter does NOT fold up to store so keep that in mind if you have a small space. Charging the scooter takes a few hours when the battery is dead but once charged and the on/off switch is left in the off position, the scooter keeps the charge so you don't have to leave it plugged in.

This scooter gives up to a 40 minute ride time at full speed however, my children have been able to achieve a longer riding time by keeping the scooter speed at lower speeds while riding. I would recommend safety equipment to be used while riding as the scooter can reach fairly fast speeds that could do damage to a child/teen. The recommended weight limit is 150lbs yet my 175lb husband is able to ride and it still can reach up to about 13 miles per hour before starting to slow. Also, the recommended age is 12+ due to the speed of the scooter yet if the child is mature/responsible enough I believe this to be a good choice that will last for years before outgrowing (not that anyone really outgrows an electric scooter) just make sure the child is capable of handling the faster speed.

The speedometer is digital and shows you the battery life, speed, distance traveled and current ride time. These features are able to be reset at any time. This truly is a solid built scooter that was made to last.

Searching for a way to charge your phone without the extra bulk of a portable charger?...try this

I really love this ALCLAP Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Battery Combo-4200mAh Extended Backup Battery-Charger Cover Case-Rechargeable Power Bank Case- TPU Back Cover (Gold) ...I have a Samsung note 5 phone and I am constantly on the phone either playing games, texting or talking and over time my battery runs dead. I hate having to carry around those smaller chargers with the cord hanging around it since I have small kids that like to pull wires for fun this charger seemed like a great solution.
The charger is very lightweight...almost feels fake...but works beautifully. The color is gold (more of a rose gold in my opinion) and there is a small, round silver button on the back that is the on/off switch and allows the unit to charge your phone with no further action needed. The case opens towards the top (it slides open) to allow you to insert your phone onto the small port located in the bottom center that creates the connection and then you just slide the top piece into place and that creates a secure connection to your phone. Turn the charger on and you will see small blue lights on the bottom rear side that indicate how much charge remains (4 blue lights = 100%). The phone will recognize the charging once the charger is turned on and that's all you have to do.

This charger was able to take my phone from 5% to 65% in less than a 2 hour time frame. Another plus is that the sound from my phone is actually more amplified than before while in the charger. I can listen to music without needing my headphones while outside when using this. I am also able to charge my phone while also connecting the charger to my computer or wall outlet to do maintenance without encountering problems.

Overall, this charger serves its purpose of charging my phone while providing me freedom to use it and portability to charge while out and about. I keep this in my purse for when I need it and the button does not just randomly push on nor does the battery pack lose its charge while waiting to be used like some others do. Great option for everyone.

Perfect for vacation or at home use..an inflatable bed rail

I have 2 toddlers that still fall out the bed at night due to tossing and turning and the larger bed rails don't fit with the type of bed I have since the frame comes up higher than the mattress. I purchased the Toddler Bed Rail by Shrunks to help keep my kids from falling out the bed while providing a soft and comfy area to sleep in (no hitting a rail with heads). The bed rail comes with a small manual pump, bag and a patch and takes only a minute to air up and its ready to use. I love how lightweight and portable this rail is and since it can be deflated time and again, I can bring it on vacation to keep my kids safe in hotel room beds.

The underside of the bed rail is soft and has a smooth grip to keep it in place under the sheet. The bed rail is tall enough to prevent roll overs but small enough that while awake, my kids can climb over it to get in/out of their bed...like the bigger kids do. The seal is easy to close and open and there has not been any air leakage since I first pumped the bed rail up over 3 months ago. Very high quality material and a unique idea that's perfect for any child and parent wanting to keep their children safe while asleep.
