I purchased this Educational Lace and Pegs Kit for my developmentally delayed 3 year old with the hopes of helping him gain more eye and hand coordination, fine motor skills and more. While he still struggles with the smaller pieces, this kit is good for him and he will grow into it more as he develops. My older children 8 and 10 yrs old even like the play with the kit. Its actually 2 kits in one since one child can practice lacing while the other one works with the pegs. This set definitely inspires their imagination since there are so many pieces and the colors are so bright. 
The case is made from a somewhat flexible plastic so it will not break very easily and there is even a handle at the top to carry it easily. With 368 pieces this is sure to keep your child busy for hours. This is a great kit for kids of all ages and helps develop necessary skills needed as they grow older.
